Chlorophyll is the green pigment found in countless plants. This pigment absorbs energy from sunlight and helps in the process of photosynthesis. This plant, and all of those around it, have chlorophyll in them, demonstrated by their deep green color(s). Also, it is clear that these plants are thriving, and they wouldn’t be able to do so without the assistance of chlorophyll to create their own food.
